original painting by sarva david
one left
one left,
hidden in plain sight,
gravity gives us a way up,
by keeping us down,
with no way out
but drawing all in,
tripping us up
centripetally,
encircling us back
down concentrically.
you want the mass
to build a new base
to give you the bird's eye view,
but you can't see beneath you.
where is your kinder, gentler light?
erect your hardened obelisk
within the disk, alone,
but i plumb the cornerstone.
you dream of the east,
setting out in the evening,
lying down in the west
by darkness blessed,
murder most foul,
with all the sordid affects
still our benefacts.
dismantle
the prison
piece by piece,
for yourself
as it falls.
escape
the ape.
appono astos
there is only one revolution,
and it is revolving now.
occupy everything!
